How we work together

My approach integrates several therapeutic frameworks, including attachment and developmental theory, affective and interpersonal neurobiology, psychodynamic psychotherapy, somatic psychology and body-mind integration. Trauma Therapy Long-term commitment

Healing is a journey that takes time and commitment. For lasting transformation, I recommend a long-term approach, typically starting with six or ten sessions to address deep-rooted trauma and build resilience. These sessions give you the space to integrate the work, retrain your nervous system, and create lasting shifts in your emotional and physical well-being. Together, we will create a plan that supports your unique path to healing, providing ongoing support as you move through your transformation.

This therapy is for anyone who has experienced disruptions in their body-mind connection, particularly those struggling with:

Healing Trauma and Survival Stress

 At the core of Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy (ISTT) is the ability to heal trauma and survival stress, which often manifest in the body as protective defense mechanisms. We will work to regulate your nervous system and shift from dorsal vagal activation (freeze, threat response) to ventral vagal engagement (safety, connection). Through a combination of hands-on bodywork and hands-off verbal guidance, we identify and release blocks at physical, energetic, and emotional levels.

This process fosters:

  • Self-regulation: Helping you manage your body’s responses to stress
  • Self-expression: Enabling you to express yourself freely without fear of judgment
  • Freedom from survival stress: Creating space for authenticity, connection, and emotional freedom
