What is Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy (ISTT)?
How Does ISTT Work?
Healing is a journey that unfolds over time. To create lasting transformation, I recommend a structured approach beginning with six or ten sessions. These sessions help you process deep-rooted trauma, retrain your nervous system, and cultivate emotional and physical well-being.
This therapy is particularly beneficial for those experiencing:

Physical symptoms
such as chronic tension, headaches, digestive issues, and restricted breathing

Emotional distress
including anxiety, numbness, overwhelm, shame, or anger

Psychological challenges
like low self-worth, depression, dissociation, or repetitive negative thought patterns

Relational struggles
such as attachment issues, loneliness, or difficulties with boundaries and connection
At the core of ISTT is nervous system regulation—helping you transition from a survival state (fight, flight, freeze) to a place of safety, connection, and self-expression. By working with therapeutic touch, guided breathwork, and body awareness, we release stored tension and emotional blockages, allowing for profound healing.
“The path to freedom is through the body—healing it, listening to it, and honoring its wisdom.”

Healing Trauma and Survival Stress
Trauma is stored in the body, often keeping us stuck in survival states like fight, flight, or freeze. ISTT focuses on nervous system regulation, helping you transition from chronic stress to a state of safety, connection, and self-expression. Through therapeutic touch, breathwork, and body awareness, we release emotional and energetic blockages, creating space for deep healing. This process fosters:
- Self-regulation: Managing your body’s responses to stress
- Self-expression: Expressing emotions without fear
- Freedom from survival stress: Creating space for authenticity and connection
Through a combination of therapeutic touch, therapeutic breathwork, and body awareness, we release emotional and energetic blockages, paving the way for deep healing.
